At nightfall, Lanzarotes begins nightlife. Depending on where on the island they are, the nightlife looks different. But one thing is for sure: pleasure is guaranteed!

The south coast offers a very lively nightlife! In Puerto del Carmen, there are several lounge and cocktail bars, as well as nightclubs with a lively atmosphere, in particular on the Avenida de las Playas, which is celebrated until late into the night. There is also a casino here if you want to try your luck at one of the game tables or roulette. Close to the port area, there are even more bars and restaurants where you can have fun until the early morning. Would you like to stay in a luxurious 4-star hotel in this lively environment? If so, Spain-Lanzarote recommends a stay at the Vik Hotel San Antonio, which is right on the beach and has excellent facilities and luxurious rooms.

In Playa Blanca you will find the cosmopolitan Marina Rubicón, where you will find a stylish nightlife and sophisticated entertainment, several stylish bars and exclusive restaurants. This stylish harbor is lined with glamorous yachts and attracts an elegant clientele who enjoy bistros with refined cuisine and elegant bars to relax and amuse. Lanzarotes "Café del Mar", a very well-known, trendy chill-out bar from which there are offshoots all over Spain, is a big public magnet here. Funky music, fantastic views and a very cool ambience are guaranteed.

Close to this lively area is the 5 star Hotel Volcán Lanzarote, which offers the best possible accommodation and the kind of luxury that will ensure that you enjoy your stay to the fullest. And also the prices are great!

The 4 star Sandos Papagayo Arena Hotel is also located in the south. It is close to the center of Playa Blanca, where there are many lively bars, chic restaurants and other entertainment venues, so you can have a great time here. And if you are looking for 5 star luxury of the highest quality at a reasonable price, look no further than the Princesa Yaiza Suite Hotel Resort, overlooking a beautiful white sand beach and the magnificent sea.

Arrecife should not be missed if you want to get to know the nightlife, which the locals prefer. The city is full of nice bars, where you can have fun with people of all ages and enjoy the most diverse musical genres.

Costa Teguise offers a good selection of restaurants, bars and pubs, even if it is with a more family atmosphere much quieter than the neighboring Puerto del Carmen. In Costa Teguise, sporting shows are shown in various bars and there are many bars offering variety shows and entertainment for the whole family. In this resort we recommend the 4 star Grand Teguise Playa Resort, which offers great deals on fantastic accommodations near several sandy beaches.

The north of the island is not so much focused on lively nightlife, although there are of course many fantastic restaurants offering dishes from all over the world. If you want to experience something truly unique, visit the famous caves Jameos del Agua, which every week transform into an unusual underground disco.

In terms of opening hours, bars are usually open daily throughout the day, while discos and nightclubs open at around 11pm and close when the last guest leaves (normally around 5am or 6am).

It is smart to take a nap during the day, to enjoy Lanzarotes nightlife to the full!
