Lanzarote has a well-developed bus network that takes passengers to remote corners of the island. The central point is the capital Arrecife. From here you can easily get to all major towns.

Bus tours are especially suitable for those who want to sit back and enjoy the view from the window.

Trip destinations or accommodations off the bus lines however are still better with rental car or taxi to reach.
By bus to small places with waiting time

The larger places on Lanzarote like Arrecife, Puerto Carmen, Playa Blanca or Costa Teguise are visited several times a day.

However, if you want to visit smaller villages, you have to bring some waiting time. Here the connection on Lanzarote often consists only of an early and a late bus a day, so a rental car is much better suited.
Bus line in Playa Blanca

A private bus line offers a comfortable service in Playa Blanca. There is a public bus every 30 minutes between the neuralgic points of the resort.

Between 06:30 and 22:00, the local bus operates the most important districts, beaches, shopping areas and places of Playa Blanca. For example, the Faro de Pechiguera lighthouse, marina Marina Rubicon and Castillo de las Coloradas are the stops.

So the local bus also stops near the Playas de Papagayo. From the stop it is about 20 minutes walk to these popular beaches of Playa Blanca.
